Annotation: A wide-mouthed frog asks many animals what they eat, but he gets one terrifying answer.

Reflection: The Wide-Mouthed Frog is a pop-up book about a frog that asks what other animals eat and shares with them that he eats flies.  The book starts with the frog stating, “I’m a wide-mouthed frog and I eat flies,” which is repeated to each animal he interviews about their food choices.  The frog asks “What do you eat, _______?” and the animal replies with “I eat ______,” The frog asks as a bird, a mouse, and finally an alligator who replies with “I eat delicious wide-mouthed frogs.”  The frogs then stops what he’s doing, closes his lips to make his mouth small and says there’s not many of them around and jumps into the pond.
