Reflection: To Market, To Market is a cute story about a lady that goes to the marketplace and buys a medley of farm animals that keep escaping from their pens.  At the end of the story she takes all the animals to the marketplace and buy vegetables to make a big pot of soup for them all to enjoy.  This book utilizes rhyming according to the animal it’s focusing on.  For example, when the book is focusing on the “cow,” the next line ended with the word, “now.”  The illustrations in this book are very interesting as well.  The images are grayscale and only the animals and the old lady are in color, drawing attention to their importance.
