Annotation: A multitude of sea creatures and their homes are explored in this book.
Reflection: This peek-a-boo board book uses rhyming text and colorful illustrations of animals in their natural environment. The interactive book uses simple clues about what ocean animal is shown hiding their face so children are to guess what the animal is. The answer is revealed behind each flap and repeats the line “Splash! I’m a ______.” The following pages continue with the same pattern and teach the name of various ocean animals. The book ends with a pop-up of the animals playing together in an “undersea bash.”
