Annotation: A Mouse travels around the world to find the love of his life.
Reflection: This book follows a question and answer pattern as a mouse travels around the world to find the mouse of his dreams. A “what will you do?” type question is asked and the mouse responds with an “I’ll do this” type answer. The mouse’s answers all rhyme with each other as well, creating an engaging rhythm that keep the children entertained. For each of the mouse’s answers, a picture of him searching in a different place is shown. At the end of the story, the mouse finds that his true love is actually his next door neighbor. This teaches children the moral that sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you.
