Reflection: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star is a tale many consider as old as time. It is meant to be sung as a lullaby and has a memorable tune that makes it easy for children to recall.  The story is broken up into two line stanzas wherein each line rhymes together.  It is an excellent bedtime story to read to your child since it was originally a lullaby.  The images in Long’s edition use very stark and vivid colors, which attract the eyes to the book.  Even though the colors are vivid, they are also dark, giving the book a “nighttime” feel.
