Reflection: Where is the Green Sheep? is a cute picture book that shows a group of different colored/named sheep on each page and then asks the same question about the missing green sheep over again.  For example, the story goes, “Here is the __ sheep,” and on the next page it will say “But where is the Green Sheep?”  The story is engaging because it uses repetition through questioning and it addresses the readers directly, making them want to respond.  The illustrations are simple, but colorful and successfully differentiate between the many different sheep.
